I would hope that Blade and Soul has a long life

More the online gaming became broadband, in terms of population and accessibility, as any other thing, producers, publisher and software houses started to think largely, if you have to adapt a game to anyone needs, you start balance everything to turn it “average”, you start to low the difficulty, low the time needed to achieve objective, you think about an easier interaction beetwen player in terms that you don’t have to spend one hour looking for a party, or 5 hours to make an instance, you start to promote single play over everything else, that is the only way to attract casual gamers, coz potentially they’re more then dedicated gamers, nevertheless we still call these games mmorpg, well might the prob is how we see the whole thing, if you don’t like how mmorpg world turns out, just leave it, tbh i keep playing online more for the ppl i knew in past games, with which i built some kind of friendship, than for the game itself, maybe just coz i grow up and i changed my approach to games, i dunno, the thing i know is that i like gaming, and of course you have to like also the game itself, tbh bns have many things that are fun, and i appreciate that is not too heavy on daily things that you need to do to keep up with the upgrades, the bot prob is real since 2k9 or whenever was released in asian countries, and if you played there, compared to west is rly not a big deal.

So far after Guild Wars 1, published from ncsoft, just sayin, which has always been my idea of massive multiplayer game, ok was focused on pvp, prolly wasn’t even properly a mmorpg, but you truly needed to get along with ppl coz you needed them to cooperate and achieve stuff in the game, that it was pve or pvp or massive pvp or whatever you want, you needed social interactions to do anything, and you could succeed in competitive events as a real team, you felt part of something, i didn’t see any fresh and new idea in the mmorpg world since then, and by watching incoming games i’m sure it’ll go worse, we play online but the game let you play alone 90% of the time, that’s not the right way to develop mmorpgs, till they keep making money like this it won’t change, we can change this but it’s an utopia and wasted words.

Personaly, i make about 25-35 blade and soul gold in 3 hours of playing smart and optimizing my bns gold income as opposed to some that “need” todo 40 dailies every day.

As to the rest, there are no more hard MMO’s out there, unless you go back to a EQ progression server (i came from one), this game doesnt even require 120 people anymore every night for 5 hours to progress, you need 3, if you truely are an mmo veteran, then i suppose you are either looking back on rose tinted glasses or where never in a top 5 raid guild, so you never caught up back then either. But anyways, the time you need to spend in blade & soul to keep up is way less then reaching level 50 in EQ
